With more than 75 years of combined experience, our staff has worked in the areas of agricultural training, crop management, community development and advocacy. In MAUF’s short history, the staff has provided more than 100 “at-risk” youth with personalized gardening training. They provided gardening training to organizations, churches and community centers. They created farmer’s markets in underserved areas. They have a mobile farmer’s market that go into low-income areas to provide healthy fruits and vegetables. As well as, developed agricultural consortiums designed to create a true community support network of businesses, residents, organizations and institutions.
